Head of Underwriting is a person to analyze the risk to be covered and decide whether or not to write new policies and/or renew existing ones. Working closely with the Risk management and Sales and distribution teams, the head of underwriting defines coverage, services, terms and conditions, and also determine pricing. (S)He also work with the Product development teams to adapt products over time.
